Story: Balu(Naga chaitanya) is a topper from schooling, he tops in EAMCET also.He is pursuing computer engineering and now her Aunt’s daughter(maradalu) Maha Lakshmi (Tamanna) comes from village and joins the same college. There is an attitude and Ego problem between them. To what consequences it leads to forms the remaining story?

Performances: Naga Chaitanya improved a lot, he performed well in many Scenes. Tamanna is okay. Naresh, K.R.Vijaya,Vijay Kumar, The kids and the remaining supporting cast fitted the bill. Cinematography is Good. Music is above average with a couple of Chartbusters. Art work and editing are fine. The Screenplay is predictable in the second half. The dialogues are very natural and appealing. The Direction is good in parts.

Analysis: Here comes another movie from the Genius (makes simple things complex) SUKUMAR after ARYA-2(which appealed only to one section). Sukumar has changed his style without changing the format. He selected a simple story (to be frank no story) and narrated it even simple with two flashbacks. One-- hero point of view(first half) and Second-heroine point of view(second half). The regular style(flavor)of Sukumar is missing some how. Sukumar has set a format for himself and he is not coming out of it. Here is the format------An interesting opening sequence which raises curiosity and confusion among the viewers. Then comes some beautifully picturised montages. An item Song(with Vamp) which is a hit one which takes the movie to another level(“Aa Ante” from Arya, “Ringa Ringa” from Arya-2) and ending the movie contrast to what he has shown in the beginning or all through the film(A happy ending What the Audiences are waiting for). Every Director has a mark/Style of his own and so also Sukumar.

Coming to the performances- Naga Chatanya is okay, he suited to the serious role in the first half but towards the climax his acting appeared artificial (pre climax scene where he weeps).Milky Beauty Tamanna tried her best to portray the role well, She is good even though she does a bit of over action in the initial scenes. Screenplay by Hari made the film look very ordinary. The dialogues are simple but effective. The Direction is partly good.(sukumar’s minute details ----generally he never misses them----which impresses you are missing here). Sukumar always follow a different Schematic pattern for titles. This movie is no exception. The VFX and graphics work in the film is good.

Cinematography is good. The Art work is fine. The editing is okay. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. A couple numbers are already hit with the youth. I don’t comment much on the Lyrics (as the standard is very poor) but they appeal to the youth. The Mass number “Diyyalo diyyalo” got huge response in the Auditorium. All the scenes in the combination of kids in the first half have come out well. The songs (montages) in the first half are fine. The Scenes where Naga Chatanya and Tamanna compete to study well and get the top rank have come out really well. The dance (ANR-NTR Dance) sequence got huge applause in the theater. Naga Chaitanya has to improve a lot in dance (His body language doesn’t permit him to dance). The movie lacks an interesting story line which excites the Audiences. No family elements. The second half appears dragging with predictable and ego-Clash Scenes. The story of “Bava-Maradalu” fight reminds us of “Nuvvu leka Nenu Lenu”(Tarun, Arti Aggarwal) but it’s packaged with family elements, here the family angle is missing, the reason shown for the separation of the grand parents appeared silly.

The First half is good and the second half is strictly okay. The movie is mainly targeted at youth; we have to and see whether it reaches them in this summer season.

Plus: Entertainment, First half
Minus: weak story line, Second half
Verdict: Movie for youth, Entertainment guaranteed
Rating: 3.25/5.0
